little bear shares with his friends

Mr. Incredible’s cinnamon rolls turned out just incredible!  Gooey, buttery goodness especially when they were steaming hot.  My mouth is watering all over again just thinking about all of the warm rolls inside my tummy:) Yum!

The recipe made a whole ton of rolls, however.  We looked at pan after pan sitting on our countertop and discussed what to do.  We could freeze them and eat more later.  Or, we could share:)

We started by pulling out a book I remembered we had about a little bear and his mom who make special cakes for all of their friends.  They drive around their town surprising their friends with little cakes.

And so that is just what we did.   We packaged up 6 plates of gooey goodies and whoever we thought might enjoy a cheerful warm surprise we went and delivered to.  Dash was jumping up and down with excitement to bring plates to our friends and share.

I don’t think I’ve had so much fun in ages!  :)

That was a really sweet idea :) . I wish I was close enough to be a recipient :) . So you liked those? They are definitely on my “to try” list (and Ryan’s too!).

Mmmm, those do look really good! Ooey gooey good. I wonder if the recipe could have halved – that is an awful lot of cinnamon rolls. Looking forward to hearing your plans for this coming season!

Mr. Incredible, ElastaGirl, Dash, and Jack Jack–You all ARE an INCREDIBLE family!!! I was the recipient of the gooey, sticky, cinnamony, yummy rolls and boy did you all make my day. My family also LOVED receiving them, but it was the special out-of-the-blue phone call from this INCREDIBLE family that made my day. You all are very special and I am very blessed to have you in my life.

Thanks for sharing on your blog, Em. I haven’t visited here in ages. Silly me! And I missed your telling me it was a Little Bear story…I vaguely remember it. Love those Minarik books.

That recipe is in my “to-make” folder so I’m glad to know it actually works and tastes yummy. And I want to be like Little Bear when I grow up!

If I had an oven that worked, I would soooo be making these right now! I was just saying to the Engineer that I am seriously craving cinnamon buns. YUM!!

Blessings!
