We’re enjoying these few days before Christmas
making gingerbread cookies with Dash’s class at school
my favorite church service of the  year–the Christmas candlelight service and kid’s involvement in acting out the Christmas story (Mary, Joseph, and a little sheep!)

driving around to look at Christmas lights after the service!
and in the midst of our joy and festivities, we haven’t forgotten the tragic events of Newtown…my heart breaks every time I think of the lives lost…we’ve been lighting a candle in remembrance
