I love summer weekends…and a long weekend is even better. I love how the warmer weather brings out the motivation to get together with friends, spend long hours outside together, and enjoy lots of different places.
Friday the boys and I spent the day at the lake with my sister in law and my niece! It was an insanely gorgeous day with beautiful temperatures and we had a blast together. Jack Jack kept plunging into the water over his head; I’d pull him out, he’d plunge back in….repeat. The boy has no fear.

Friday night we had dinner with our good friends Tim & Marcella! The kids ran around the yard and we sat outside watching them….perfection. Their gorgeous girls:

I made my first homemade pie with a homemade crustMy 4th of July tribute–red strawberries and raspberries, blue blueberries, and white icecream over the top. mmmm!

We got tired of chasing after Jack Jack who kept running to the front of the house so he got plopped into the pack and play and snuggled with Cali….
